High-quality endodontic treatment
Root canal treatment (RCT) or endodontic treatment involves the removal of inflamed or diseased
pulp from inside the tooth, in order to save the tooth.
The inflammation or infection can have a variety of causes:
- deep decay
- repeated dental procedures on the tooth
- faulty crowns
- A crack or chip in the tooth.
In addition, trauma to a tooth may cause pulp damage even if the tooth has no visible chips or cracks. If pulp inflammation or infection is left untreated, it can cause pain or lead to an abscess.

Frequently Asked Questions
Root canal treatment addresses the issue of decay that has spread to the nerve of your tooth and caused an infection. Left untreated, you’ll eventually lose the tooth. A root canal procedure involves removing the nerve and then carefully cleaning and sealing the canal. The final step of your root canal is usually a dental crown.
A root canal isn’t particularly different from a big filling. Your mouth will be numb throughout the procedure. You won’t feel pain but may feel a bit of pressure. We’ll provide individualized aftercare instructions to help you recover easily.
Root canal treatments take anywhere from 30 minutes to 90 minutes, depending on the condition of your tooth. Your treatment may also be split into 2 appointments, depending on your situation.
